 Mr. Casterline has worked in the plastics industry since 1968, spending time at a custom injection molder (Double D Plastics in Greenville, MI), a sheet molding compound (SMC) molder (Budd Company in North Baltimore, OH) and at automotive giants General Motors Corporation (Oldsmobile Division in Lansing) and Delphi Corporation (Packard Electric in Warren, OH). Casterline has been a Senior Member of the Society of Plastics Engineers since 1987 and has been President of the Cleveland Section twice since then. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University (General Motors Institute in Flint, MI) and a Master's Degree in Industrial Administration from Purdue’s Krannert School of Management.
Gary’s main experience is in plastics design, materials, training and processing. More specifically, he has worked extensively with injection molding, but is also well experienced with extrusion of profile shapes, continuous extrusion blow molding and wire and cable extrusion. From a materials perspective, he is particularly knowledgeable of high temperature and high performance plastics.
