IDES is a plastic materials information management company with a vertical search engine for the plastics industry. We provide our customers with quick access to

global resin manufacturers. All data is supplied by each manufacturer and we update our database every week.
Our mission is to provide tools for plastics
professionals to quickly access technical plastic materials information and datasheets. As a first step to fulfilling that mission, IDES's founder Mike
Kmetz developed a new approach to cataloging plastic materials information, which
later translated to an online three dimensional database, architected to hold
and display highly technical and complex raw materials information. IDES is now
widely recognized as the world's largest vertical search engine for plastic materials
information and data sheets.
The information we manage is accessible on
our website, The Plastics Web®, and through Prospector. IDES
products and services have gained brand awareness through word of mouth from loyal
customers.
IDES was incorporated in 1986 and we're particularly
proud of the IDES story.
