Andy RoutsisAndy Routsis is the founder and president of A. Routsis Associates, Inc., the premier training provider for the plastics industry. Over the last 20 years more than 2,000 companies, in over 31 countries, have benefited from Routsis' training by lowering scrap rates, reducing tool damage, and decreasing machine downtime. Routsis is a hands-on engineer that administers advanced training for industry personnel on both part and mold design, as well as scientific and DECOUPLEDSM molding.

Andy started his career in the plastics industry on the production floor and owned his own tool shop for over 5 years before forming his current training company in 1991.

Andy is also an international consultant to the plastics industry and regularly travels and lectures throughout Europe and Asia. He is working closely with Polymer Training Limited, UK (PTL) in introducing Global Standards for Plastics Certification (GSPC) to the United States, so American companies can gain a global competitive edge by developing and improving their workforce.

Andy is very active with all of the major plastics associations; including SPE and SPI, as well as educational facilities that teach and promote plastics. Routsis is a graduate of University of Massachusetts Lowell and is currently an adjunct professor within their Department of Engineering.
