How can I buy plastic? Top
IDES does not sell plastic materials. However, using Prospector we can help you connect with an authorized distributor or easily track down the manufacturer’s contact information.
- You can submit a ‘Sourcing Request’ in Prospector by finding the individual material and clicking on the
 icon in the Results Table or on the Datasheet. Once you’ve completed the information and submitted your request, IDES will send the information to Distributors who can help you with pricing and availability. View demo.
- The Sourcing Request page also contains the manufacturer’s contact information so that you may call them directly.

Where can I find MSDS? Top
IDES does not have MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) in Prospector. Currently we only provide Technical Data Sheets. You can try these other methods to locate MSDS:
- Search The Plastics Web® – many times the page you’re looking for will appear in the search results. For example, enter the Product Name followed by the keyword 'MSDS' in the search box and click 'Search' like Delrin MSDS.
- Try the Manufacturer's website by finding it from the Manufacturer Directory on The Plastics Web®.
- Use a third party MSDS site:
