Scrap - Any product of
a molding operation that is not part of the primary
product. In compression molding, this includes flash,
culls, runners, and is not reusable as a molding compound.
Injection molding and extrusion scrap (runners, rejected
parts, sprues, etc.) can usually be reground and remolded.
