Slip Additive - A modifier
that acts as an internal lubricant which exudes to
the surface of the plastic during and immediately
after processing. In other words, a non-visible coating
blooms to the surface to provide the necessary lubricity
to reduce coefficient of friction and thereby improve
slip characteristics.
