Spiral Mold Cooling -
A method of cooling injection molds or similar molds
wherein the cooling medium flows through a spiral
cavity in the body of the mold. In injection molds,
the cooling medium is introduced at the center of
the spiral, near the sprue section, as more heat is
localized in this section.
