DOW HDPE 12110G by Dow Plastics is a HDPE (Polyethylene, High Density) plastic material.

HDPE 12110G High Density Polyethylene Compound is a black HDPE resin for the coating of steel pipes. It is designed as a top layer material that combines excellent processing characteristics with superior physical properties and environmental stress crack resistance, required for steel pipe coating. Optimum UV protection is provided by well dispersed carbon black with fine particle size.

- Good performance in 3 layer steel pipe coating due to superior physical properties.
- Easy processing.
- Mechanical strength at low and high temperatures.
- Very good thermal and UV stability.
- Excellent ESCR.
- Good electrical properties.
- When properly fabricated, HDPE 12110G High Density Polyethylene Compound in combination with AMPLIFY GR 320 is expected to meet the following pipe coating specifications
- DIN 30670
- prEN 10285
- NFA 49710
- CAN/CSA Z245.21-06.

Processing Recommendations:
- HDPE 12110G can be readily extruded using conventional techniques with melt temperatures between 200 and 240 °C.
