Product Description

Premi-Glas 1282-32 VE SMC is an enhanced high strength glass reinforced vinyl ester molding compound formulated for under-the-hood automotive applications. Key features and benefits are:

- Improved stiffness at elevated temperatures relative to the Premi-Glas® 1281-32VE SMC.
- Designed for compression molding for optimal strength on large-span covers.
- Excellent resistance to automotive chemicals and fluids, and to salt spray.
- Replaces cast metals for reduced Noise, Vibration, and Harshness, plus molded-in color.
- Excellent dimensional stability and creep resistance.
- Outstanding thermal properties and and elevated temperature modulus retention.
