BCC Resins BC 7020 by BCC Products Inc. is a Epoxy (Epoxy; Epoxide) plastic material.

BC 7020 is a light weight two component epoxy backfill system. Unlike BC 7010, the filler portion is pre-blended into the resin and hardener components for easier handling, thus simplifying the mixing process. BC 7020 is ideally suited for foundry applications involving mold and core construction. BC 7020 features the following advantages: low cost, simple mix ratio (1 to 1 by wt.), long pot life, machinable, low shrinkage, color change to insure complete mix.

Mixing Procedure:
Combine equal parts (by weight) into a clean, dry mixing container such as a Hobart Kettle or similar vessel. Mix completely (5-10 minutes) until blue and yellow components yield a faint green uniform color. Empty mixture into mold cavity in 1 to 2 inch layers and compact (tamp) into place. NOTE: To insure adhesion between previously applied surface coat, laminate or BC 7020 backfill system, it is recommended that a thin layer of epoxy resin/hardener mixture be used prior to back filling with the BC 7020 system.
