AFFINITY PF 1140G - Dow - Plastomer, Polyolefin Plastic

AFFINITY PF 1140G by Dow Plastics is a POP (Plastomer, Polyolefin) plastic material.

AFFINITY* PF 1140G Polyolefin Plastomer (POP) is produced via INSITE* Technology. It is an ethylene alpha-olefin resin designed to be used in a variety of demanding applications including form-fill-seal packaging and fresh produce bags. This resin has excellent compatibility with other polyolefins, allowing efficient blending and coextrusion.

NOTES:
(1) When used unmodified for food contact applications, this resin will comply with the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act as a food contact substance (FCN) as a result of a premarket notification with an effective date of October 7, 2004 under FCN 424. This notification allows for use of this product as articles or components of articles used in contact with all food types under Conditions of Use A through H, as described in U.S. FDA Table 2 of 21 CFR § 176.170(c).
(2) It is the responsibility of the manufacturer of the food contact article to ensure the article is suitable for its intended use. Manufacturers should be aware that foods with a high oil content may compromise the integrity of the packaging.
