ALCUDIA 45060-UV by REPSOL YPF is a HDPE (Polyethylene, High Density) plastic material.
General Information
Product Description

ALCUDIA® 45060-UV is a high-density polyethylene copolymer of hexene, with high molecular weight. It is especially designed to make, by blow moulding, containers of medium and high capacity (up to 5000 litres) oils and dangerous goods.
This grade contains stabilizers according to the end use of the item in order to reinforce the thermal and light stability.
ALCUDIA® 45060-UV polyethylene includes stabilizers that allow having the same properties after undergoing high temperatures during processing. On the other hand, the use of the UV absorer retains more than the 50% of the initial elongation at break, after having been irradiated with 3.4 GJ/m˛.
It has an excellent environmental stress cracking resistance (ESCR) and impact resistance, so it is recommended for IBC tanks.
