ALCUDIA 5502-E by REPSOL YPF is a HDPE (Polyethylene, High Density) plastic material.
General Information
Product Description

ALCUDIA® 5502-E is a high-density polyethylene copolymer of hexene, with high molecular weight. It is specially designed to make, by blow moulding, tanks of medium and high capacity. Also fror thermoforming sheets.
This grade contains stabilizers accordiing to the end use of the item in order to reinforce the thermal stability.
ALCUDIA® 5502-E is approved for food contact under certain legislation.
ALCUDIA® 5502-E polyethylene includes stabilizers that permit it to retain the properties after undergoing high temperatures during processing.
Good environmental stress cracking resistance can be obtained with ALCUDIA® 5502-E due to its molecular weight and density.
