General Information
Product Description

AMODEL A-1801 HSL BK324 resin is a 50% long glass fiber reinforced, heat stabilized polyphthalamide (PPA) grade which exhibits high strength and stiffness, exceptionally high impact and high temperature performance. This resin has low moisture absorption and low coefficient of thermal expansion, which means excellent dimensional stability. Fatigue and creep resistance is also exceptional.

AMODEL A-1801 HSL BK324 is ideally suited for mechanical parts that are used in impact and fatigue environments in automotive, marine, and industrial industries.

This resin can be easily processed by injection molding on equipment designed for long fiber reinforced thermoplastics using water-cooled molds. Its rapid crystallization rate and high flow can result in short cycles, high molding productivity and low part cost.AMODEL A-1801 HSL BK324 resin can be processed using conventional injection molding equipment and methods. Mold temperatures of at least 135°C (275°F) are required to obtain a smooth
