General Information
Product Description

ISPLEN® PP 031 G1E is a medium-low melt flow rate polypropylene homopolymer particularly formulated and adapted for extusion processes. The additives used are compatible with any others that the customer may wish to add.

ISPLEN® PP 031 G1E may be transformed at melt temperatures between 220 and 260°C depending on the section of the final product. It combines outstanding processability with good mechanical properties.
Typical applications are in extrusion processes such as: high tenacity and low fibrillation tapes for textile uses, high tenacity monofilament, and low thickness sheet extrusion.

ISPLEN® PP 031 G1E can be easily coloured during the extrusion process using the right pigments, preferably in the form of concentrates with a higher melt flow rate than that of the base polymer.

ISPLEN® PP 031 G1E complies with FDA standards and European Directives regarding contact with foodstuffs.
