General Information
Product Description

ISPLEN® PP 040 G1E is a medium melt flow rate polypropylene homopolymer specially formulated and adapted for extrusion processes. The additives used are compatible with any others that the customer may wish to add.

ISPLEN® PP 040 G1E may be transformed at melt temperatures of between 235 and 245°C depending on the section of the final product. It combines outstanding processability with good mechanical properties.
Typical applications are in extrusion processes such as: weaving tapes, monofilament, and sheet extrusion.

ISPLEN® PP 040 G1E can be easily coloured during the extrusion process using the right pigments, preferably in the form of concentrates with a higher melt flow rate than the base polymer.

ISPLEN® PP 040 G1E complies with FDA standards and European Directives regarding contact with foodstuffs.
