ISPLEN PP 044 W3F - Repsol YPF - Polypropylene Homopolymer Plastic

ISPLEN PP 044 W3F by REPSOL YPF is a PP Homopolymer (Polypropylene Homopolymer) plastic material.

ISPLENŽ PP 044 W3F is a medium melt flow rate polypropylene homopolymer, specially formulated and adapted for bioriented film extrusion. The additives used are compatible with any others that the customer may wish to add. The rheological properties of ISPLENŽ PP 044 W3F enhance orientation and give it very high break resistance in the melt, meaning that it behaves ideally during subsequent treatment.

ISPLENŽ PP 044 W3F is extremely pure and has an excellent thermal stability. Its optical, mechanical and barrier properties are very good.

ISPLENŽ PP 044 W3F may be transformed at melt temperatures between 230 and 250°C depending on the section of
the final product. It is characterised by its excellent processability.
Typical applications are in extrusion processes such as: bi-oriented film manufactured using the tenter process, high tenacity staple yarn, and low thickness sheet extrusion.

ISPLENŽ PP 044 W3F can be easily coloured during the extrusion process using the right pigments, preferably in the form of concentrates with a higher melt flow rate than the base polymer.

ISPLENŽ PP 044 W3F complies with FDA standards and European Directives regarding contact with foodstuffs.
