Borsoft SD200CF by Borealis A/S is a PP Random Copolymer (Polypropylene Random Copolymer) plastic material.

General Information

Product Description

Borsoft SD200CF is a very soft random heterophasic copolymer, suitable for use on chill roll process. The product combines unique softness with outstanding mechanical properties making it the ideal solution for mono and coex cast film design.

Borsoft SD200CF is characterised by:
- Easy processing on standard cast lines
- Very high softness
- Outstanding mechanical properties (tear, impact)
- Reasonable optical properties
- Excellent heat sealing properties
- Good radiation resistance (for gamma-sterilisation)

Borsoft SD200CF is especially suitable for:
- Stationery folders
- Food/textile packaging
- Technical films (protective, functional)
- Property modification in other application fields (engineering, compounding, fibre, injection moulding, lamination, etc.)
- Substitution of other plastics
