AFFINITY SL 8110G by Dow Plastics is a POP (Plastomer, Polyolefin) plastic material.

AFFINITY™ SL 8110G Polyolefin Plastomer is a resin produced using INSITE™ Technology.

AFFINITY SL 8110G Polyolefin Plastomer has been designed for blown stretch films as a skin layer in coextrusion with other resins. It exhibits excellent stretchability and cling properties as well as good physical properties.
Due to its low melting point, AFFINITY SL 8110G is well suited for applications in batch inclusion bag applications.

When used unmodified for food contact applications, this resin will comply with the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act as a food contact substance, resulting from a pre-market food contact notification (FCN) with an effective date of October 7, 2004 under FCN 424. This notification allows the use of this product, as articles or components of articles used, in contact with all food types under Conditions of Use A through H, as described in U.S. FDA Table 2 of 21 CFR § 176.170(c). The composition of this product complies with the requirements of most European Food Contact Regulations that are necessary for contact with non-fatty foodstuffs. Please contact your nearest Dow office regarding food contact compliance statements. The purchaser remains responsible for determining whether the use complies with all relevant regulations.
