Product Description

DOW™ Medical Packaging Film (MPF) 2000 is a flexible thermoformable multilayer coextruded film designed for use with coated lidding materials in the packaging of medical disposables. It consists of a layer of DOWLEX™ Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE) which provides toughness and tear resistance, and a thinner layer of PRIMACOR™ Ethylene Acrylic Acid (EAA) Copolymer which aids in formability and provides consistent peelable seals to coated lidding material.

General Characteristics
- High toughness and tear resistance
- Thermoformable on a variety of TFFS machines
- Sterilizable by EtO, gamma, or E-beam
- Clean peelable seals without fiber tear
- Good see-through clarity
- Resists discoloration with sterilization or age
- Puncture and abrasion resistant packages
