GAFONE PES 3600P - Solvay Advanced - Polyether Sulfone Plastic

GAFONE PES 3600P by Solvay Advanced Polymers is a PES (Polyether Sulfone) plastic material.

Gafone 3000P, 3100P, 3200P, 3400P and 3600P polyethersulfone resins are available in a granular, powder form. This powder form possesses distinct advantages when dissolving or dispersing into solutions, grinding to smaller particle size, coating via melt processes, or blending with other solid particles is required. These high heat capable resins offer excellent toughness and durability, along with outstanding chemical resistance including resistance to steam, boiling water and mineral acids. Cast films or coatings of Gafone are transparent and have additional desirable properties including long term thermal stability, excellent metal adhesion and formability, and inherent flame resistance. These polyethersulfone grades represent a range of molecular weights. These molecular weights correlate directly to their bulk solution or melt viscosities, and go from low viscosity, with Gafone 3600P, to high viscosity with Gafone 3000P.

Typical applications where these are used include high temperature coating formulations, advanced high temperature composites, and specialty adhesives.
