Product Description
HDPE 50045E is a bimodal resin with a unique molecular structure providing a combination of flexibility with high melt strength and offering excellent processability for thick blown film and steel pipe coating applications. A specific carbon black component is incorporated into the HDPE 50045E resin during the production process to ensure that a fully stabilised, homogeneous black sheet can be produced. The HDPE 50045E is suitable for use in geomembranes and steel pipe coating applications Main Characteristics: - High molecular weight - Excellent processability and melt strength - Resin contains carbon black - Complies with the requirements for use in contact with food of the EU Directive 2002/72/EC. Contact a Dow Sales Office to obtain a detailed food contact compliance letter for this product. Such a letter covers the food contact status of this product in the various European countries and in addition gives info about imposed migration requirements.
