Product Description
Medium-viscosity, heat-stabilized polyamide 12 compound containing molybdenum disulfide

VESTAMID L1950 black is heat-stabilized and contains a lubricant with molybdenum disulfide.

The compound is suitable for injection molding of mechanical stressed parts of gears and slide bearings, e.g., guide rails, sliding bushings, switch cams.

VESTAMID L1950 black contains a high effective mold release agent for easily demolding.

Parts made of VESTAMID L1950 black absorb only small amounts of water resulting in an excellent dimensional stability at changing ambient humidity.

The high impact strength, low coefficient of sliding friction and the chemical resistance remain unaffected.
