Product Description
Halogen-free flame-retardant, flexible polyamide 12 compound

VESTAMID LX9104 has been especially developed for the extrusion of corrugated tubes and is distinguished by the following properties:

  • high impact strength and flexibility, also at low temperatures, especially good flexural fatigue behavior
  • softening by non-migrating polyamide elastomer
  • due to low water absorption of polyamide 12 good dimensional stability and constant mechanical properties at changing ambient humidity
  • good chemical resistance
  • good ageing stability
  • high oxygen index
  • self-extinguishing with flammability class V-0 at 0.8 mm according to UL94.

VESTAMID LX9104 behaves as a thermoplastic elastomer that can be processed like any other VESTAMID compound.
