Product Description
Glass fiber reinforced polybutylene terephthalate compound with non-migrating and non-corrosive flame retardant

VESTODUR GF12-FR3 is a glass fiber reinforced (12.5%), self-extinguishing polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) compound with a creamy-white color.

The compound is suitable for manufacturing parts subjected to high mechanical and thermal loads.

Test bars made of this compound are rated self-extinguishing according to UL94 by Underwriters Laboratories Inc.

The incorporated flame retardant is nonmigrating and has no corrosive effects on metal inserts or neighboring metal parts.

Therefore VESTODUR GF12-FR3 is distinguished for moldings in the electrical and electronical industry. Laser marking with high contrasts is possible.
