Product Description
Metocene HM562M is a medium melt flow rate (MFR) polypropylene homopolymer ideally suited for the production of cast film as well as fiber and general extrusion applications. The resin is specifically designed not to discolor and to provide excellent film optical properties. The resin has a very narrow molecular weight distribution and a melting point of 145 °C. This material is available as an extruded pellet. The combination of a very narrow molecular weight distribution and lower melting point promote exceptional optical properties and sealability in film applications. The low MFR, narrow molecular weight distribution and high degree of resin consistency yield good film processability and fiber spinnability as well as higher tenacities in fiber applications. This is a low smoke, low volatile, non-gas fading clean running resin. Metocene HM562M contains no peroxide or peroxide decomposition by-products. It contains an unusually low level of extractables.
