Product Description
PRE-ELEC® ESD 2300 is a static dissipative thermoplastic compound based on PE-HD. The dissipative property is permanent and built into the polymer chain. PRE-ELEC® ESD 2300 has been developed for multilayer film blowing. It can also be blow moulded or injection moulded. Surface resistance values of 109 ohms (EOS/ESD S11.11-1993, IEC 61340-5-1) can be achieved with optimum processing parameters.

Typical applications include multilayer bags, sacks and bottles which give permanent ESD protection for the electronics, medical, pharmaceutical and agricultural industries. When
PRE-ELEC® ESD 2300 is used in the core layer and FDA approved polyolefin in the outer layers, a low charging and food approved film can be achieved. PRE-ELEC® ESD 2300 gives also good barrier property and printability without treatment as it has low surface tension and can be coloured into various bright colours.
