Product Description
PRE-ELEC® ESD 5000 is a polyolefin compatible dissipative masterbatch developed for PP injection moulded products. The active substance is an IDP (inherently dissipative polymer)
and it gives a permanent dissipative property also at low humidity. The surface resistance level at 1x108 - 1x1012 ohms can be achieved at 8-20 % dosing level (EOS/ESD S11.11-1993, IEC 61340-5-1).

The let down ratio of the masterbatch should be tested prior to its use with the polymer used in order to reach the desired dissipative level.

PRE-ELEC® ESD 5000 can be used in clean room applications. The processing temperature should be less than 220 °C (430 °F) and the material should be pre-dry before processing.
