Product Description
19N430B is a low density polyethylene for extrusion coating, especially developed for high-speed coating. Very high drawdown speeds are achieved throughout the extrusion temperature range, and thin coatings are possible at low temperatures. The molecular structure of the polymer produces an excellent clear coating.
19N430B has good heat sealability and moisture barrier properties. Its melt characteristics guarantee good adhesion and low neck-in. There are no smoke or odour problems, even at high temperatures.
Applications
19N430B is a very versatile general coating grade, which can used throughout the coating temperature range. In addition to paper and board, 19N430B is very suitable for:
  • Coating and lamination of various plastic films
  • Cellophane and aluminium foils
It is particularly recommended for low temperature co-extrusion of thin layers.
