Product Description
Phenol finds its major application in phenolic resins, Bisphenol A, and caprolactam. Liquid phenolic resins are used as adhesives in plywood, solid resins are used as engineering plastics in electrical applications (panel boards, switchgears, and telephone assemblies). Bisphenol A is used to make very strong polycarbonate plastics and epoxy resins, used in construction indsutry (paints, fiberglass binder, and adhesives).
