Product Description
NatureWorks® PLA polymer 6350D, a NatureWorks LLC product, is an amorphous thermoplastic spunbondgrade resin derived primarily from annually renewable resources. Available in pellet form, 6350D is designed for extrusion into spunbond nonwovens using conventional bicomponent PET spunbond equipment, where filament velocities > 4000 m/min can be achieved. NatureWorks® PLA 6350D can be used as a low melt binder polymer in a sheath-core configuration.

Potential applications for PLA polymer 6350D include:
  • Bicomponent spunbond nonwovens
