Product Description
Umex products are a series of acid modified low-molecular-weight polyolefin containing a carboxylic acid anhydride group as the functional group.

These products have a higher degree of modification and lower melt viscosity compared with conventional acid modified polyolefin. Therefore, the reactivity of the products is extremely adaptable to various synthetic resins and inorganic materials. Polyolefin blended with the products excels in dispersibility of both pigments and fillers into resins and readily adheres to other materials including paint film. Moreover, the products exhibit excellent effects as a modifier for hot melt adhesives and asphalt.

Umex CA60 (a product containing a dehydrating agent) is specially developed for compounding resins with moist fillers, such as pulp, wood flour, chaff, etc.
