Product Description
COTENE™ XC1002 is a linear low density polyethylene which has been chemically modified to provide excellent bonding to metals. This material can be processed in a similar manner to conventional rotomoulding, but in order to achieve optimal adhesion the metal surface should be cleaned through abrasion, acid etching and /or degreasing.

COTENE™ XC1002 offers good chemical resistance and adhesive strength. It is designed for metal coating applications, but can also be used as a tie-layer to bond dissimilar polymers such as Nylon and polyethylene. This product does not contain a UV stabilisation package, and is therefore not suitable for outdoor applications.
