Product Description
COTENE™ XC1252B series consists of a linear medium density polyethylene formulated with a foaming agent suitable for rotational moulding. This product is available with a choice of three expansion densities, as indicated by the suffix, and is intended to be used as a second shot either utilising a drop box, or by manual addition.

This grade will exhibit excellent bonding to a polyethylene skin, which is critical when trying to increase the stiffness and impact resistance of a product. Foam can be used in existing designs to reduce overall weight and also increase flexural stiffness. This product does not require specialist equipment, but a high level of process control is desirable in order to achieve consistent results.

Custom stiffness and coloured foams can be designed to special order.
