Product Description
BA160E-8229-01 is a black impact polypropylene heterophasic copolymer ( block copolymer ) with optimised mechanical properties, intended for injection moulding of compression pipe fittings. It features a very good processability . It shows excellent stress crack resistance and a good resistance to chemicals. BA160E-8229-01 is characterised by a combination of high stiffness and high impact strength, also at low temperatures. The additive formulation is designed for appropriate durability.

BA160E-8229-01 is especially recommended for injection moulding of pipe compression fittings / mechanical pipe joints. BA160E-8229-01 fulfils the requirements for rawmaterials according to DIN 8076-3/1994 ( internal pressure resistance at 95°C ) and the requirements of DVGW VP609 /2001 concerning the thermal stability ( internal pressure resistance at 80°C for >1Year) , respectively.
