Product Description
HAPCAST 3736 is a room or elevated temperature curing, casting and tooling compound
  • Steel filled
  • Low viscosity
  • Excellent viscosity and high density
  • Good air release and good wettability of all surfaces
  • Very low shrinkage
  • Ensures the user of an exact reproduction of the original model
  • May be used in large castings
  • Provides excellent toughness, impact strength, and thermal conductivity

HAPCAST 3736 advantages
  • May be easily drilled, tapped, milled, sawed, etc., with regular metal working tools
  • For tough, high-density castings that can be used in high performance applications.
  • Easily mixed and poured
  • Non-staining
  • Non-staining curatives
  • Non crystallizing
  • Liquid systems with unusually low mixed viscosities for easy mixing and pouring at room temperature
  • Fillers stay in suspension, during curing process, insuring uniform density and mechanical properties

HAPCAST 3736 recommended use:
  • Metal and vacuum forming tools
  • Hammer forms
  • Drop hammer dies
  • Checking and holding fixtures
  • Core filling
  • Draw and stretch dies, etc
