Product Description
High density polyethylene for Extrusion coating:
  • SABIC® HDPE 0863F resin is a homopolymer with an exceptional high density manufactured by gas phase technology. The grade offers high sitffness, high temperature resistance, low water vapour transmission and relatively high grease resistance. The resin has an extreme low gel level. Because of the linear character it is advisable to use the material in combination with autoclave LDPE in order to improve extrusion coating processability and maintain web stability.

  • SABIC® HDPE 0863F is typically used for food packaging, release paper and photographic paper.

High density polyethylene for masterbatch compounding
  • SABIC® HDPE 0863F is a special homopolymer HDPE grade with a very low gel level and good intrinsic stability.
  • Application
    • SABIC® HDPE 0863F is specially suited for masterbatches in extrusion coating, in HDPE layers.
    • Further as masterbatch in general or specific HDPE applications, when stiffness, combined with good flow properties are required, such as injection moulding and film extrusion.
  • The product mentioned herein is in particular not tested and therefore not validated for use in pharmaceutical/medical applications.
