Product Description
Heat stabilized polyamide 12 powder for rotational molding

VESTAMID LX9005P has been designed especially for the rotational molding process. The powder is characterized by excellent pourability and uniform melting in the rotating tool, thereby facilitating consistent wall thickness in parts to be moulded.

Rotational molding has the principal advantage of lower investment for equipment and tools when compared with the blow molding and particularly the injection molding process. It offers the technical capability to produce large and complex shaped parts, particularly thick-walled hollow, bodies, almost free of strain and without considerable variations in the wall thickness. Inserts can be integrated in one step.

The semi-crystalline compounds based on PA 12 are characterized by a low moisture absorption. Therefore parts molded from VESTAMID LX9005P display an excellent dimensional stability at various environmental humidities besides consistently high impact strength, low coefficient of friction and good chemical resistance.
