Product Description
High molecular, easy mold release PA 12 (nylon 12) compound for efficient production of injection molded parts, e. g., of mechanical fittings for HDPE gas installations(1).

1) Note:
VESTAMID LX9032 black meets the cell classification PA423 according to ASTM D4066. The equivalent pipe grade, VESTAMID LX9030 yellow meets the cell classification PA42316 according to ASTM D2513 with a HDB rating of 3,150 psi at 73°K (23°C)

VESTAMID LX9032 is a high molecular, heat stabilized compound with exceptional mold release properties. Additionally VESTAMID LX9032 is nucleated to reduce the cycle time and shrinkage of molded parts.

Generally mechanical properties of compounds based on PA 12 vary little with changing humidity due to their low moisture absorption.

Parts made of this semi-crystalline material are characterized by exceptional impact strength, high abrasion resistance, low friction and good chemical resistance.
