Product Description
Texin 3044 is an aliphatic polyester-based thermoplastic polyurethane; it can be processed by injection molding or extrusion. Texin 3044 resin exhibits better color stability (i.e. yellowing) than aromatic thermoplastic polyurethane resins. Texin 3044 also exhibits improved resistance to hydrolysis, as well as outstanding clarity.

Applications include protective film for coated metal and plastic components. Exposure to UV irradiation can affect the mechanical properties of thermoplastic polyurethane resin. As with any product, use of Texin 3044 resin in a given application must be tested (including field testing, etc.) in advance by the user to determine suitability.
