Product Description
ASTALAC™ ABS MB-312018 is a grey colour masterbatch ABS compound in the form of dust free granule which is designed for ABS pipe and profile extrusion applications. ASTALAC™ ABS MB-312018 is formulated to provide superior colourant dispersion in uncoloured ABS base resin to not only impart even and stable visual colouring properties but also retain the mechanical strength and balance of impact resistance and rigidity.

ASTALAC™ ABS MB-312018 grey masterbatch is usually premixed with the uncoloured ABS base resin at a predetermined addition rate prior to drying and injection moulding jobs. Whilst a 2~5% addition rate is common, users should perform their own testing to derive an optimal addition rate (taking into account the balance of properties suitable for the application).

Typical applications are found in pipes, sheet and profile extrusions which are used in mining, irrigation, drainage and water supply piping fields.
