Product Description
Nylon N603(L) is a nylon 6 copolymer compound formulated for improved toughness compared with general purpose products, especially dry, as molded. For molded parts which may be exposed to high temperatures for prolonged periods of time, the use of N603HS(L), the heat stabilized formulation, is recommended. N603(L) exhibits a viscosity suitable for injection molding and many extrusion applications, and maintains the easy processability typical of nylon 6 resins and compounds. Each is available with a mold release lubricant designated "L" for injection molding applications, or without, for extrusion. The properties of these heat stabilized grades are similar to those of the general purpose product, with the exception of elongation to break, which may be slightly reduced. For applications where preservation of natural color is important, especially for precision color matches, the use of N603H(L), which incorporates an effective stabilizer system free from color effects, is recommended.

Characteristic of nylon 6, N603(L), N603H(L) and N603HS(L) also exhibit excellent fatigue resistance, natural lubricity and resistance to the effects of a broad range of chemicals, oils, solvents, and can therefore be considered for use in a very wide range of applications.
