Product Description
Product Features:
-In compliance with FDA 21 CFR 177.2600(c)(4)(i) and other applicable regulations for repeated food contact use.

-When Compared to diamine cured compounds, this product gives:
--Excellent mold release
--Better mold flow
--Better scorch safety
--Superior compression set resistance
--Superior water resistance at elevated temperatures
-Composition: di-polymer of vinylidene fluoride and hexafluoropropylene
-Cure technology: proprietary incorporated cure

Recommended Processing Procedure: Fluorel FG 5690Q can be compounded using standard water cooled internal mixers or two-roll mills. For food contact applications, fillers and ingredients utilized must be in compliance with applicable regulations for repeated food contact use. The "dry" ingredients should be blended before adding to the masticated gum. For best results, FG 5690Q should be banded on the mill several minutes prior to adding the blended dry ingredients. Once mixed, the compounded stocks display excellent processing safety and storage ability.

Product Form: FG 5690Q is packaged in slab form. Nominal size is 22" x 12" x 3". FG 5690Q is available in a bulk packaging system for 1,650 pounds of material. Smaller quantities are available in 55 pound boxes.
