Product Description
AH50 is a toughened acetal homopolymer, with a melt viscosity suitable for general purpose injection molding applications; it is internally lubricated for ease of mold release
Acetal homopolymer is a highly crystalline engineering thermoplastic polymer exhibiting predictable mechanical properties over a wide temperature range and for long time periods. Features include a good combination of high tensile strength and rigidity, resilience and toughness, outstanding dynamic and static fatigue resistance, and excellent dimensional stability. Resistance to the effects of a very wide range of chemicals, oils and solvents and natural lubricity makes acetal homopolymer the material of choice for a wide range of applications in all major end use categories.
AH50T can be considered for applications where these fundamental characteristics are required combined with significantly improved toughness and ductility compared with the general purpose formulation AH50.
