Mono-Sol MC-1257 is a rapidly soluble specialty packaging film made from methyl hydroxy propyl cellulose (MHPC). This film is resistant to many chemical reactions which typically create insolubility in PVOH films. MC-1257 has good heat sealing properties and can be converted on conventional packing and pleat wrapping machinery.
Toxicological Properties:
The ingredients of MC-1257 are designated by the United States Environmental Protection Agency as exempt from tolerance under 40 CFR 180.1001 (d) and therefore the film is approved for use as an inert ingredient in pesticide formulations applied to growing crops under 40 CFR 180.1001 (d).
All ingredients are of very low toxicity and are regarded as being non-hazardous. MC-1257 film does not contain any substance listed in OSHA Standard 29 CFR 1910.1000 to 1910.1101.
