Product Description
Solprene 412 is a radial oil extended styrene-butadiene block copolymer with a 30% styrene content, most of it present as a polystyrene block which gives the polymer a thermoplastic behavior. It is oil-extended with 6 phr paraffinic oil. It develops properties of vulcanized rubber without the need for
vulcanization. It is protected with a non staining antioxidant system and is essentially gel free with a very clear color.

Solprene 412 is used as elastomeric modifier for asphalt and as ingredient in compounding for shoe soles, injection molding and other thermoplastic goods.
