Product Description
"Adflex" KS-358P thermoplastic olefin resin is designed for a variety of extrusion and compounding applications, e.g., calendered and extruded sheet, monolayer and multilayer air quenched blown films, or as a modifier of LDPE or LLDPE resins. It is based on proprietary Basell process technology and can be used on conventional PVC calendering equipment, sheet extruders and LLDPE and HDPE film extrusion equipment.
This resin has no slip or antiblock and only minimal stabilization in order to allow wider design latitude for the compounder. Additional suitable stabilization is recommended to protect the resin during melt processing and throughout its useful life.
KS-358P resin meets FDA requirements in the Code of Federal Regulations in 21 CFR 177.1520 for all food contact, except for certain fatty foods.
Please note that any additives compounded into this resin will require a re-assessment of its regulatory status. All ingredients in KS-358P resin meet the chemical registration requirements of TSCA (U.S.) and DSL (Canada).
