Product Description
"Adflex" EXP 2191 resin is a highly modified, propylene-based copolymer characterised by a high degree of softness and flexibility. This grade has been specifically developed for use as a central layer in a co-extruded blown film structure that is suitable for wrapping or cling film. As outside layers, a "Luflexen" LLDPE can be used, in order to provide excellent optical properties and a required degree of cling performance.
This product can be converted into wrapping or cling films that have similar properties to existing cling films and is suitable for use on automatic wrapping equipment.
"Adflex" W EXP 2191 can be extruded on standard PP cast film lines. It does not contain any slip or anti-block agents. Overall migration tests (in contact with olive oil, acetic acid and ethanol) indicate that this type of co-extruded film structure could be used to package certain types of fatty foods. When used in a typical cling film formulation, an "Adflex" W meets the relevant product regulatory requirements. Depending on regional regulatory requirements, film producers should evaluate films with specific end-uses in mind.
