NOTE: Geon weatherable compounds contain pigments and ingredients that, along with processing conditions, contribute to the weathering performance of the PVC compounds. The weathering performance of unpigmented compounds or so-called natural compounds generally is inferior to pigmented compounds. Unpigmented weatherable compounds may also contain non-pigment ingredients which can interact unpredictably with pigments to produce unexpected weathering results. Therefore, in applications where processors or customers would like to use an unpigmented compound, or add their own pigment package, it is the customer's responsibility to determine whether or not the weathering performance after pigmenting is acceptable in their specific end-use application.
