Easily processed polyethylene coatings. Excellent draw down and relatively low viscosity permits high line speeds at low coat weights. Low sensitivity to fluctuations in melt temperature allows Westlake Polymers' EC 471 to be easily processed at melt temperatures. For heavy coatings onto cellophane, 570° F is recommended. Neck-in is minimized, odor and smoke is reduced.
